It evolves from Munchlax when leveled up with high friendship.
Snorlax (Japanese: カビゴン Kabigon) is a Normal-type Pokémon.
In the Generation I and II games and their remakes, a wild Snorlax can be found sleeping in inconvenient locations throughout Kanto. In order to catch one, a Trainer must first awaken it with music from either a Poké Flute or Pokégear set to the Poké Flute channel. A sleeping Snorlax makes a return in Pokémon X and Y in which it is blocking the player's way on Route 7.
Snorlax is a huge, bipedal, dark blue-green Pokémon with a cream-colored face, belly, and feet. Its body is composed of mostly its belly, where most of its fat reserves accumulate. Its head is large, with small, pointed ears and two pointed teeth protruding from its lower jaw. It has large, hind feet with three claws and a circular brown paw pad, and its arms and five foreclaws are short.
Snorlax is often found in mountains and forests . It wakes up only to eat and seldom for exercises. It is not a picky eater, as its strong stomach allows it to eat even moldy food without feeling any ill effects. When hungry, it is not satisfied until it consumes 900 lbs. (400 kg) of food. Snorlax is docile enough to let children and small Pokémon bounce on its large stomach.
Munchlax (Japanese: ゴンベ Gonbe) is a Normal-type baby Pokémon. It evolves into Snorlax when leveled up with high friendship. It was the first Generation IV Pokémon to be revealed to the public, in May 2004.
Munchlax is a teal Pokémon with a cream spot on its chest. Its round head is teal in the top half and cream on the bottom half. It has big, round eyes and large pointy ears. It has five-fingered hands and cream feet with three clawed toes. The fur close to the bottom of a Munchlax seems to resemble a dress. Munchlax has two pointy teeth that stick out of its mouth even if closed.
It is a hyperactive Pokémon. It does not mind walking and running from place to place as it looks for food. Munchlax tends to store food in its long fur, although it sometimes forgets about its hidden food. It can also eat many servings of food at a time, and rarely gets full. Munchlax can gulp down food without chewing. Munchlax eats the most food of any Pokémon besides its evolution, Snorlax. It will eat nearly anything.
Muncheegee was a wild Munchlax who was sitting in the tall grass, like any other regular wild Pokémon. Until, bad luck stroke for this young Munchlax when the "Pokémon trainer" that found him happened to be Weegee! Instead of Weegee forfeiting the battle, he used the Weegee Stare on him and that was the day the abomination Muncheegee was created. Also, if he enters a mall he turns into Gentle Snorlax. More information about him down below.
Gentle Snorlax is created when any Muncheegee walks into a mall. The Muncheegees then go on a shopping spree at a single section causing them to not move that much. Because of that, they come out as a Snorlax with fancy clothes. As you can tell, his clothes are a bit ripped but that's not stopping our fat, lazy, "hero".
