The Cheap Bag of Potato Chips is the eldest and most powerful of the four precursors that make up The Great Precursor Authority.
Origins[]
The Cheap Bag of Potato Chips' origin story is extremely unclear, however he is said to have walked amongst some of the eldest creatures in the universe, and is amongst the "founding fathers" of it. This would explain why Cheap Bag of Potato Chips is so powerful. When the powerful deities that Cheap Bag of Potato Chips walked with began to die out, the Cheap Bag of Potato Chips realized just how fragile life can be and sought to create intelligent, sustainable lifeforms, who would not end up killing themselves when trying to discover their powers. This started with the birth of Mama Luigi, who was given immense power and was the second of the precursors as well as the first of intelligent life in general. Not long after, Pureegee was also created, and became the third. The Cheap Bag of Potato Chips lastly made Some weird Weegee some random guy requested in, at the request of some random guy, and invested not as much power as he did the other two, but he was still powerful nonetheless. The Cheap Bag of Potato Chips then went into an eternal slumber, and left the other three precursors to do all the work of shaping up the universe to what it is now.
While it is unclear how exactly the Cheap Bag of Potato Chips ended up taking the form of such a modern relic millennia prior to its existence, it is thought that Cheap Bag of Potato Chips wasn't always, well, a cheap bag of potato chips. It is a common theory that the Cheap Bag of Potato Chips simply takes the form of the most basic artifact of the current century, perhaps to avoid being disturbed during his slumber.
The Rise of Sqeegee 5[]
The Cheap Bag of Potato Chips appeared in The Rise of Sqeegee 5, where he was first used by Patrick as an attack and later as defense against Super Sqeegee and Dark Sqeegee, who had just challenged him and SpongeBob to a Pokémon battle. The Cheap Bag of Potato Chips ended up dying to Super Sqeegee's stare to allow Patrick to escape, deeming him a hero, however it is possible that he simply didn't want to interfere with the constraints of time, space and reality. This would also explain his dormant state. Also, since he is extremely powerful, many people doubt that he was actually killed by the Sqeegee Stare, deeming his current status unknown. However, he has not appeared since then.
